Your pet is an important part of your family, and when he or she is ill, you want the best medical care available.
I do not have enough kind words to speak of Dr. Sara Cowan and the staff at this Facility. We brought our almost 11 year old Boxer/Great Dane "Joe" for a procedure recommended by our Vet. Even though we did not receive good news for our boy 🙁 The professionalism, compassion & true concern & care for our boy was clearly shown to him and us. We cannot thank you enough – God Bless!
I just want to thank you for taking care of my puppy Snickers. Came in 2 nights ago, thought she was choking but you found that she had a furniture felt disk stuck to the roof of her mouth. Thank you so much!!! You are awesome!!
After taking my one eyed 14 year old rescue bichon BillyBob to many Vets in the Indian Rocks Beach area with no positive results in curing his remaining eye disorder, I found Dr Tom Miller who performed a miracle with BillyBob. Dr Miller not only cured Billybob's serious eye disorder in one visit, but his gentle caring manner put Billybob at such ease during the treatment. Billybob is such a happy senior one eyed Bichon friend I can't thank Dr Miller enough.
My dog Zoe has been seeing Dr. Oswald for a couple of years now and I am so blessed to have such an incredibly warm, friendly, reassuring, and of course very knowledgeable internal medicine specialist in the Tampa Bay area. I drive from Riverview just to seek his excellent care for my beagle. The staff are so friendly and we are pampered every time we visit. One thing that has always stood out, other than the excellent care my pet and I receive, is that there is very little wait time, if any. This is so surprising for such an esteemed clinic. A big THANK YOU to Dr. Oswald and the wonderful staff for all that they do for our beloved animals!
Our beloved 17 year old cat Midori suffered what we believed was a stroke. Our vet was closed, and we raced to your office, knowing that this would likely be our last minutes with Midori. Your team immediately took her to Triage, and we were in a private room within 15 minutes. The doctor came in immediately and confirmed our fears and we made the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye. The entire staff treated us with such compassion. From explaining our options, to taking care of the bill prior to the procedure, to giving us the time we needed to say goodbye. When the time came, the doctor explained everything that would happen, and encouraged us to talk to Midori and let her know we were there. She also offered us as much time as we needed after. It was an awful and hearbreaking situation, but your staff made it so much easier. You might not expect that level of compassion from an "Emergency Room" type situation, but you are AMAZING. We thank you!
Called ahead, there in 20 minutes. Gal behind desk asked who I was as I came through the door. She called to back for tech using my cat's name specifically, signalling to me they had prepared based on my call. Within 15 seconds tech had Hunter and asked one question before taking him to back. Dr. Soyka diagnosed, prescribed and executed quickly on a transfusion which saved my friend's life. Pet lovers know when we are headed for a place like this the outcome can be dark, but unbounded love and commitment drive us through those doors. This operation clicked on every step. The Dr. and the 2 techs I dealt with were concise and worked quickly. The gal at the desk glued it all together from front to back. It is nice to fall into their caring hands when in such a fragile state. Will be back.
Our 6 year old pit mix, Gordo, needed surgery to remove a mass from one of his parathyroid glands. Dr. Sawyer thoroughly explained the procedure and recovery to us. and graciously answered all questions. She called us after his surgery and kept us updated on his status the 2 days he was hospitalized(even on Easter Sunday) The entire staff is compassionate, courteous and genuinely concerned about your pet's well-being. The best endorsement comes from Gordo who practically prances into the building and back to get his follow-up lab work done. Testament to the loving care he received there. We could not have been more pleased with our experience. Thanks to everyone on the staff, especially Dr. Sawyer!!!!
Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists were Exceptional in treating our Jack Russell. Dr. Soyka was very Professional in taking care of Lily. The staff of Stephanie and Danielle were also Excellent in there treating our dog and my wile & me.
Dr. Oakes was Amazing !!! It was very had to take our beloved golden Toby to another vet because he had only been seen since he was a puppy by his primary, however when he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer we were told Dr Oakes was the best. They were right!!! He is amazing. He walked us through everything. Toby came through with flying colors. I would recommend anyone seeking a vetinary surgeon contact them first. They aren't the flashy advertisers but they are certainly fantastic !!!
